After 2 days of productive dry testing the Middlehurst
Motorsport GT-R team were faced with wet conditions for quailifying
today at Rockingham. The challenge of Rockingham in the wet
isn't to be under estimated with even seemingly dry conditions
offering little in the way of look and feel.

Chris started the 25 minute qualifying session with a slow build
up feeling his way into the conditions. After a brief stop
for a red flag Chris settled into a groove that would see him
swapped places around the top 5. The final lap of the session
saw Chris drop from 4th to 5th.
Race 1 saw Chris swamped at the start after a poor start.
Chris said:
'With the conditions in mind I was mindful that I
needed a good start. I had too much wheelspin at the start
and fell down to 7th. The safety helped a little in my battle
on my way through to 3rd. I was forced to defend for the final 3
laps from Aitken, and on the penultimate lap he found a way past at
Tarzan.'
